The mission of the Rotary Foundation is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.
While the majority of expenditures support Rotary's mission to eradicate polio through support of the PolioPlus program, Foundation monies also go toward global and district grants to support Rotary's other focus areas: promoting peace, providing clean water, saving mothers and children, supporting education, growing local economies, and fighting disease.
